*Update* Semifinalists
Another speller has been added to the list of Semifinalists. The Semifinalists haven't been posted yet, but they will come soon! But for sure we know Speller #44 advanced to the next round! Her name is Nikitha Chandran! Good luck!
I didn't make it to the Semi's. This was my last year, too. :(
You know the feeling when the dream you've had for sooo long gets crushed into thousands of smithereens, and you see your years of study get flushed down the drain?
I am very sorry, but think about it again. You made it to nationals - most people in the world do not even make it to this level! I feel your pain, although. I never made it to nationals, but I had to think about it positively. During my last year, I saw my dream fade, but I decided to help other young spellers study for the Bee, then I'm also in a choir where we sing in so many languages, and several words from the Bee have showed up (even before my last year). Now, I have also been studying several languages, then my study skills have improved. Amazing things also happen after your Bee years! Good luck in the future!
